1. Services

Anchor Sites provides web development, hosting, and related services. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

2. Starter Sites — Ownership Terms

For Starter Site subscriptions ($80/month):

• After 12 consecutive months of paid subscription, you own the website outright
• You may request migration to another host at any time after ownership transfers
• Early cancellation forfeits ownership rights to the website
• We will provide all necessary files and assist with migration upon request

3. Custom Development

For custom development projects, ownership transfers upon full payment. You own all custom code, designs, and content created specifically for your project.

4. Hosting Services

Our hosting services include:

• 99.9% uptime guarantee (see SLA for details)
• Daily backups retained for 30 days
• Automatic WordPress core and plugin updates
• Security monitoring and malware removal

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our services for illegal activities, spam, malware distribution, or content that violates third-party rights.

6. Payment Terms

Hosting services are billed monthly in advance. Custom development projects require a 50% deposit with the balance due upon completion.

7. Cancellation

You may cancel hosting services at any time. We will assist with migration upon request. Refunds are not provided for partial months.

8. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for services in the 12 months preceding any claim.
